On May 26 and 27, 2013, Matthew Chaplin and an unidentified black male broke into a vehicle in Upton, MA and used a stolen credit card in Milford, for multiple purchases. As the day passed into May 27, 2013, Matthew Chaplin and the unidentified black male, entered a gas station through the roof and exited stealing almost $10,000 worth of cigarettes.

Chaplin has been identified and currently has three active warrants to include FIREARM violations. There is a strong possibility he is in Woonsocket, RI, but has connections in Taunton, Lawrence, Haverhill and Boston.

We believe the black male is from the Boston area and are looking to ID him.

Chaplin is in custody in Woonsocket, RI. Thank you to all who assisted.
