On Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at approximately 11:43pm, Shrewsbury Police were dispatched to the Shell Gas Station located at # 271 Boston Turnpike (Route 9) for a report of an armed robbery. The clerk called 911 and advised communications that a male party had just come into the store and robbed him at gun point.

The suspect was described as a white male approximately 5’8 – 6’0, stocky build with a thin scruffy blonde goatee. The suspect is believed to be in his late 20’s to early 30’s with extremely pale/round shaped face. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with red lettering on the front “NYC” and black Adidas athletic pants. The pants had the three white stripes down the side. The suspect had on black shoes and wore tinted sunglasses during the robbery. The suspect was also wearing white surgical gloves.

The firearm was described as a black semi-auto handgun with a chrome slide. The suspect entered the store and immediately pulled the slide and pointed the firearm at the clerk and demanded money. The suspect advised the clerk to give him the money or he would shoot him. The suspect further advised him to lie face down behind the counter and count to 500 before arising, or he would be shot in the back.

The clerk did not hear or see any vehicles shortly after the robbery.
