On Friday, September 13, 2013 members of the BR/VCTF along with Boston PD responded to a robbery at the Sovereign Bank 474 W. Broadway, South Boston, MA

At approximately 09:19am hours, an unidentified subject (UNSUB) entered the bank and approached teller station #1. UNSUB passed a note and made a verbal demand for U.S. Currency. The UNSUB placed a black plastic bag containing an unknown object on the counter and stated " I have a bomb" The teller gave the UNSUB an amount of U.S. Currency The UNSUB fled the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, late 50's", med build, 5'7", and wearing a black baseball style hat, sunglasses, and blue hoodie.
