An unknown BF used 4 counterfeit $100 American Express travelers cheques to purchase an iPad at the Somerville Target. She fled in a 2013 black Nissan Altima. There have been at least 2 more occurrences of this at Targets in Everett and Revere. AMEX security informs that they have had approx $20,000 of these counterfeit cheques passed recently.
