On Saturday, January 25th an East Bridgewater YMCA member had personal belongings, including an iPhone, credit cards, wallet, and car keys stolen while he was inside the gym working out. The theft occurred around noontime on Saturday the 25th. Within 15 minutes, a white male suspect was recorded on surveillance video using the victim’s American Express credit card at the Bridgewater Rite Aid. The male suspect purchased (2) $300 Visa gift cards and boxes of cigarettes.

Within 2 hours, the victim’s AMEX card was used at the County Road CVS in Taunton, for an additional $300 purchase and also at the Taunton Macy’s for a purchase of almost $150.00.

The male suspect is a heavy set white male, approximately 25-35 years of age, who is seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses, blue jeans and sneakers on the YMCA and Rite Aid surveillance recordings. There is a distinctive black Champion logo on the left breast of the male suspect’s hooded sweatshirt. The male appears to be 6 foot or taller and weighs over 200 pounds. The male has short, dark hair.
