On 07/18/14 at approximately 11:24 AM, The Stonington Police Department was called to the People’s Bank located at 12 Roosevelt Avenue in Mystic, Connecticut for a reported bank robbery. The investigation showed that a male subject had walked into the bank, pointed a gun at the teller and handed the teller a note demanding money. The subject fled on foot in an unknown direction. The subject was described as a possible African American or Hispanic male, late twenties to early thirties, heavy build, 5’9” to 5’11” tall, with a short trimmed beard, wearing a baseball cap, long sleeve grey colored shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
