On Thursday, April 9, 2015, Cambridge Police Officers responded to Kirkland Convenience, located at 100 Kirkland Street for a report of an Armed Robbery. The suspect entered the store, wearing a blue baseball style cap with a logo on it and a sticker on top of the brim, with a gray hood over coming from underneath a black jacket. The suspect was wearing tan colored pants, and what was described by the employee, as a scarf over his face. An employee stated he believed the suspect was about 5'9" tall and had a stocky build. The suspect was observed on video observed going around the counter to the register and grabbing onto the register. The suspect then pulls the drawer out and it falls on the ground. The suspect then picks up the cash from the floor. The employee stated that he could see the suspect's skin around his eyes where it was not covered by the scarf, and he believed the suspect was a black male. After the suspect took the cash, he fled.
