On Wednesday May 27, 2015 at approximately 2:55pm Whitman Police responded to a robbery at Menard Jewelers located at #31 South Avenue. One suspect fled the scene. The suspect is described as: a white male, approximately 5-10’ to 6ft tall, wearing a long sleeve checkered shirt (either black & white or Blue & white), gray/dark colored pants, gray sneakers, and a dark colored scally cap. The suspect is believed to have fled in a newer model gray Chevrolet Equinox.
