The Stonington Police Department is investigating a Bank Robbery that occurred on 06/24/15 at approximately 11:19 AM, at the Citizens Bank located at 46 West Broad Street in the Pawcatuck section of the Town of Stonington. Suspect described as being a white male, Approximately 5’ 8” to 5’11” tall, medium build with pot belly, balding with brown hair, late forties, wearing white baseball cap with starter logo, navy blue jacket, light blue jeans, white sneakers, dark sunglasses, black gloves and a camouflage balaclava. Suspect entered the back through the rear door, approached the teller counter and demanded money. No note shown and a weapon was implied. Suspect left the bank through the same door and left in a 2002-2005 Hyundai Sonata color white. The vehicle appeared to be missing the gas filler port door.
