On Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at approximately 1458 hours an attempted bank robbery occurred at the Leader Bank in Central Square, Cambridge. The suspect was a white male, likely in his 50's wearing a black vest with a light colored fleece underneath and khaki pants. The suspect stated to an employee, “don't be stupid, this is a robbery," and mentioned a gun. The suspect had what appeared to be crumpled up paper in his gloved hand as well. The suspect appeared to get nervous when another employee came close and fled. The suspect wore gloves and very noticeable neon pink/red/orange sneakers.
