On 03/21/04, 3 P.M. at Shaw's Supermarket, 130 River St. suspect approached service desk and passed a note threatening a gun and demanding money. He fled westerly on River St. with an undetermined amount (possibly to a waiting vehicle). He is described as a w/m in his 40's, medium build, wearing a flannel type coat over a gray hooded sweatshirt, greenish-tint glasses, blue baseball cap with white lettering possibly KC (Kansas City Royals) or PC on front. He has grayish/black short crop hair and scruffy facial growth.

Suspect John Blickenstaff was arrested by Waltham PD after receiving information he was staying at a rooming house in the downtown area.
