On 05/27/2004, report of a bank robbery occurred at the Village Bank Rt. #20 in the Town of Wayland. Suspect entered bank and demanded money. No weapon was shown. Suspect showed note and brown paper bag. Suspect fled bank and entered a light green mid-size vehicle, possible plate number of MA 4177XD, and fled via Rice Road. A short time later, dye pack and money was discovered in the area of Oak St. near the Natick town line. Suspect described as:

White male, 20's, approx. 5' 8" with light brown facial hair, wearing olive color baseball cap, navy blue hooded sweat shirt.

Framingham PD arrested William Styffe on an outstanding warrant. A large amount of cash some with red dye was found while inventorying property.
