At above date and time lone white male entered the BankNorth Vinnin Square branch and addressed the teller in a jovial and friendly manner. He then handed over a note demanding money and threatening he had a gun.

Suspect fled on foot onto and across Loring Avenue and was observed running behind the Staples building in Vinnin Square. Here he threw off or dropped his hat. Last scene in the triangle area of Swampscott, Marblehead and Salem.

Suspect is described as:
White male in his late 20’s – early 30’s, about 6’01” tall, Medium to stocky build.

Wearing: NO GLOVES, dark colored pants,dark sneakers, dark colored nylon jacket with gray hood sticking out of back at the collar. The jacket had an unknown emblem over left breast, possibly of an eagle. Black knit hat with eagle emblem (hat worn with eagle to the rear).
