Our agency is investigating a bank robbery that took place at Bank of America, Rt. 9, Shrewsbury on December 2, 2005 at approximately 5:13 PM. The pictured female suspect entered the bank and passed a typed note, which read, " she had 30 seconds to get $5000 in 100's and no one would get hurt." The suspect is described as a white female, 50-60 years of age, 5'2" to 5'3" in height, and 115-120 in weight. The female was seen wearing a green plaid hooded fleece sweatshirt, jeans, and grayish colored gloves during the robbery. The female fled the area in a gold Saturn vehicle, cracked windshield, with an unknown MA registration. A male suspect was seen with the female outside the bank acting as a lookout and fled with her in the vehicle. The male suspect is described as a white male, tall (6'0"+), skinny, very grungy looking with no facial hair, and light colored hair. The male suspect was seen wearing a white striped shirt, jeans, and jean jacket. The female in the Robbery has been identified as Marion Barringer (06/15/1955) and she travels with Patrick Mackey (04/08/1964). They are believed to be traveling in a gold Saturn with South Carolina registration #182SVK which is to Marion Barringer. Both parties have warrants in several States for check fraud at banks. Marion Barringer and Patrick Mackey are believed to have robbed banks in West Springfield, Westfield, Endfield Ct., Windsor Ct., Manchester Ct., Brattleboro Vt., and West Hartford Ct. Shrewsbury Police have taken out Arrest Warrants for both Patrick Mackey and Marion Barringer for Unarmed Robbery of Bank of America. Alias names are used by both parties and fake ID's are passed.

Marion Barringer and Patrick Mackey were arrested Feb. 16 in Nashville, TN on the Shrewsbury warrants. They were located at a Hotel and were arrested without incident. They are also now suspected and connected to bank robberies in North Carolina, Virginia, and possibly Georgia. They are now suspected in as many as 13 bank robberies up and down the east coast.
