This unknown suspect has been involved in approximately eight (8) known thefts from the MGH dating back to 2004. Her MO is the same. Wallets and/or pocketbooks are stolen from perimeter buildings, from employees (never patients), and the credit cards/ATM cards are soon used at Downtown Crossing or Fanuel Hall, in Boston. CCTV footage has been obtained from various stores showing the purchases as they occur. In most cases, she is wearing a printed medical scrub top with a solid (usually blue) colored medical scrub bottom. We do not believe she is an employee, but dresses like this to fit in. We have noted some key identifiers: scrubs (but not all the time), African American or Hispanic female, heavy build, hair is always pulled back, widows peak in the front, slightly turned up nose.

This suspect was apprehended by Boston Police Area B-3 on Wednesday, September 13, 2006. Detective David Hyslip reported this capture to our department on that date.
