Suspect shown in the photo stole a purse (seen under his jacket) from a shopping cart while victim had moved away from cart. Theft occured on Rt. 9 in Shrewsbury and a large dark colored SUV or Van was seen waiting outside the store at the time of the incident.

Joseph Coursey was identified by the Worcester Police Dept. Detective Bureau following an unrelated arrest. Mr. Coursey has been charged accordingly with the theft of the stolen purse at Shaws Supermarket in Shrewsbury.
