Police are investigating a robbery at the Eastern Bank, located at 51 Commercial Street that was reported on Friday afternoon, December 8th. A white male, wearing a white ball cap with a "Polo" logo low over his face entered the bank and asked to cash a check. He pushed a piece of paper towards the teller telling her to give him all the money and to hurry. The teller gave the man a sum of money and he ran out of the bank and fled in a green Jeep Cherokee that was later recovered and determined to be stolen from South Boston. A resident observed an older model, white, four door Honda Accord with tinted windows parked on the street. The man in the Honda was described as a white male in his early 20’s with bushy, brown hair and wearing a long sleeve, black shirt. The man who entered the bank was further described by bank employees as being in his early to mid 20’s, 5’ 10” tall, thin build with razor stubble and a large acne pimple on one of his cheeks. He was wearing a blue two-toned winter coat with white ribbing/stripes and a gray sweatshirt underneath, jeans and sneakers.

Pail T Driscoll of Quincy has been arrested for this offense.
