On April 19, 2007 2 counterfeit American Express Travelers Checks were passed at Whole Foods Grocery Store, Derby Street, Hingham. A third attempt was made but the suspect fled before the check was passed. The first suspect described as a black male tall and thin with a striped sweatshirt. He signed the check "rob johnson" or "rob jackson." Second suspect described as a black female appx. 5'6" , 30 years old wearing hair in a ponytail and signed the check "Dayla Smith." Third suspect described as a black male 6'0" , 30 years old with a multi-colored red sox hat. He fled the store when questioned by the cashier. Any Departments with similar incidents contact Det.
