Subject approached the teller inside the Stop and Shop at Lyman Street near Rt 9, shortly after noontime. He then appeared to write a note at the counter, then held it out so she could read it. He indicated he had a gun and damanded all the cash in the drawer. He is a white male, about 25-30 years old, clean shaven, short hair, average build, wearing a ball cap, sunglasses, long sleave shirt, jeans and white sneakers. He uses his left hand to write.

Worcester Police arrested a Richard Piper of Framingham after robbing the Citizen's Bank Stop and Shop in Lincoln Plaza. He has also been charged with this robbery.
