On 12-7-07 the individual pictured below was successful in flim flamming a checker in the Nashua, NH store using a greeting card scam. The subject purchased two small items and paid with two dollar bills. The subject then had a greeting card and informed the checker that he had four hundred dollars and would like to get four one hundred dollar bills. The subject informed the checker that he would like to pick the hundred dollar bills out as they are for a wedding present. The subject pointed to the hundred dollar bills he wanted and the checker placed them aside. As the checker counted the money handed to her by the subject, the subject grabbed the four hundred dollar bills and appeared to place it in the card and sealed the envelope. The cashier finished counting the money and told the subject that he was short two dollars. The subject told the checker that he would go get the rest of the money in his car. He then took the original money from checker. The checker believed that they were holding onto the four hundred dollar bills that are sealed in the envelope while he got the change. The subject never returned and the checker opened the card to find that the card has a paper bag cut up inside to give the impression of money. The subject switched the envelopes while the checker was counting the money. This caused a shortage of $400 in Nashua.

Subject pictured is not George Greenidge but rather his accompliss in the Flim Flam: Harry A. Haslam 08/02/49 Haslam is in custody.
