On Friday December 28, 2007 at approximately 15:33hrs the Belmont Savings Bank located at 53 Mt. Auburn St. was robbed via a passed note. The suspect is described as a white male, medium build, 5'6" - 6'0", wearing oversized sunglasses and a dark hooded sweatshirt. No vehicle information at this time. Any Department with suspect information is asked to contact Detective Michael Munger (617) 972-6543 or the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force Boston (617) 742-5533

On 1-5-08 Detective Munger arrested Paul G. Cote Jr., of Medford, for the bank Robbery of the Belmont Savings Bank, in Watertown. He also admitted to holding up a bank in Medford on Jan. 2, 2008, and will be charged with that also.The posting of the picture led directly to the key lead in this case.
