Case # 07-6213 -
Victim reported two checks stolen (unk. from where) and cashed. One check for $980 at Sovereign Bank on Market St. Brighton, MA on 11/3/07, the other for $990 at Sovereign Bank on Harvard St. Brookline, MA on 11/9/07.

Case # 07-6622 -
Different victim reported four checks stolen (unk. from where) and cashed. Various amounts totaling $6,210 were negotiated at Sovereign branches in West Roxbury, Roslindale, Roxbury (on 12/6/07 within 30 minute span) and at Sovereign in Brookline on 12/10/07.

Suspect wearing same clothing (old style Baltimore Orioles hat and striped jacket w/breast pockets) in all incidents. In all, he has presented a Michigan ID # 141823372 in the name of Peter H. Donahue

After receiving anonymous tip, suspect was identified as Nabil Alabed. Through investigation, suspect was arrested on 1/22/09 and found in possession of victim's stolen license/resident cards. Also found with similar checks in name of Peter H. Donahue.
