In the early afternoon of January 23, 2008 an 82 year old volunteer worker at Metro-West Medical had her wallet stolen. From the wallet the victim’s MasterCard credit card was used by a young white female (see photo) to make a purchase at the CVS store at the corner of West Central Street and Speen Street. And short time thereafter a purchase of gas was made at the Mobil on West Central Street. Mobil CCTV shows a white male with a hooded sweat shirt covered by another jacket pumping gas into an early 2000 white four door car.

Detective Haswell reports that this person has been identified as a Wendy Cantin. She was picked up on a warrant from Detective Scott Chaulk of the Hudson Police and is being held.
