On Tuesday 04/15/08 a male suspect robbed the Sovereign Bank located at 1150 Hancock St. in Quincy. The suspect handed the teller a note indicating he was armed and demanded all the money. The suspect is described as 5’9” to 5’10” Hispanic male, mid to late 20’s and heavy set. He was wearing a dark jacket with “Sean Jean” written in white on the front, baggy pants, and a black “B” Red Sox cap. He also took the money and placed it inside a newspaper. Appears to be same suspect involved in a Medford Bank Robbery on 04/08/08.

Suspect identified as Robert Cornejo and charged with armed robbery. Arrested by North Andover PD for similar crime. Thanks to Wakefield PD, MSP, North Andover and MMW for assistance in identifying subject.
