White male entered Fast Lane Convenience Store in Rockland Center and asked the clerk for change to use the payphone. When the clerk opened the cash drawer the suspect pulled out a large filleting knife from sweatshirt front pocket. He reached over the counter into the cash drawer where he grabbed several hundred dollars. Male left store on foot, possibly to a waiting vehicle. Total time in store was only 18 seconds.
