Haverhill police have been investigating an organized ticket switch operation that has netted over $7000.00 dollars in merchandise due to the switching of barcodes from cheaper items to a more expensive item of the same, mostly chainsaws. Dating back to 2008. Suspects possibly driving a 2000 Buick with mass Z318, belonging to an Arthur Deyoung out of Malden however his date of birth is in 1931 and he is not considered a suspect. Suspects transfer barcodes from cheap ones in the store to more expensive ones on the shelf and then proceed to pay for the items.
