The pictured subject entered Stop and Shop and took a shopping cart, a cloth Stop and Shop grocery bag and went to the Formula Isle. He put cartons of Formula in the cloth bag and into the carriage. He was tracked the entire time on video by Stop and Shop loss prevention. A loss prevention officer confronted the suspect and a fight ensues. He ran from the store out to Rt. 106 where he was picked up by a green Subaru Forester type vehicle. Vehicle fled onto Rt. 140 towards Rt. 495. Suspect is estimated to be 5'10" about 160 pounds wearing white T and blue jeans. He appears to be Hispanic with short cropped hair and a thin goatee. No tag on vehicle and no ID on the vehicle operator.

Suspect has been ID'ed as Justin W. Beattie DOB 05/14/77. Detective Archer reports Mr. Beattie has been taken into custody.
