On July 29, 2009 at approximately 1915hrs. two males stole 4 bottles of wine from Hopkinton Wine & Spirits at 77 West Main St. They came in the side door and walked directly to the rear of the store. It appears the female in the pink hat was an accomplice by distracting the clerk while the two males stuffed the bottle in their pants. The clerk stated they were not regular customers and has never seen them before. The female asked a number of questions about the liquor behind the counter but did not purchase anything.

The bottles taken totaled $22,000. I was told by the owner they are rare bottles of wine and are collectable because of their age.

1) 1945 Ch. Mouten Rothchild (Retail value of $20,000)

2) Two bottles of 2000 Ch. Mouten Rothchild (Retail value of $875.00 each)

3) 1992 Ch. Mouten Rothchild (Retail value of $300.00)

The male subjects appear to be 20-25 years old approximately 5’8-5’10 and 170-190lbs. wearing baggie clothing. The female appears to be white approximately 23-28yrs. old approximately 5’6-5’8 and 120-140lbs.
