Suspect entered Shaw's Supermarket posing as a cash register repairman from NCR to fix a register. Suspect stated his boss sent him to Taunton, but ended up in Mansfield. Asked if there was anything to fix while he was there. He was directed to a register that needed repair, opened the register and took $460 cash and left the store. Suspect was heavy set WM, wearing ball cap, yellow shirt and jeans carrying some type of pouch. Any information or similar incidents contact Det. Sgt. Thompson, Mansfield PD.

After investigation, suspect was identified as Scott A. Emanuel of Dedham. On Tuesday, August 11, suspect turned himself in to Mansfield Police.
