The female suspect entered Saint's Memorial Hospital and stole an employees handbag from an unlocked desk. Included in the handbag was a checkbook and MDL belonging to the owner. The suspect sucessfully cashed three checks using the victims MDL for identification. The checks were cashed at Hannaford's in Lowell, Chelmsford and Derry, New Hampshire.
