On March 4, 2011, an individual fitting the same physical description of the East Boston Savings Bank robbery on 3-3-2011, wearing a brown leather jacket, white baseball cap, and black scarf robbed the Bank of America located at 25 Bartlett Road, Winthrop, Mass. The suspect showed the victim teller a cylindrical object and told the teller it was a bomb.

The teller complied with his demands and gave the subject and undetermined amount of money. The subject took the money and fled the bank.

Special Agent McFarlane reports suspect was arrested on 5/13/11.
