The Bank of America, 1 Whiting Street, was robbed AT 2:49 PM on 05/31/11. A white male in his twenties wearing a dark, long sleeve t-shirt type top and a black scally cap and wrap around sun glasses presented the teller a note. He was shaking badly to the point that the teller could not read the note. He then stated “don’t panic, just give me your money, don’t hit any alarms, don’t panic”. Photos of the suspect are similar to those of the suspect in recent robberies in Rockland and Hanover.

On 06/08/11, detectives from Hingham, Norwell, Braintree, Hanover and Weymouth, along with the FBI, arrested Michael P. Gallagher of Quincy in conjunction with this robbery and 5 others.
