On December 30, 2011 sometime between about 3:02 P.M. and 3:49 P.M. a black backpack containing a laptop computer, a computer charger and two button-down shirts was stolen from an unsecured office in the Mugar Library, 771 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston.

The Asian male depicted in the photos is a person of interest for this theft. He entered the library at about 3:02 P.M. carrying a small plastic CVS bag. When he left the library at about 3:49 P.M., he carried a black backpack that appeared to match the pack that was stolen.

Detective Kanavich reports this individual has been identified by Mugar Library security staff and has been cleared as a suspect for this incident.
