A suspect contacted victim via telephone at his place of work, posed as a vendor for a restaurant. The caller stated he knew a manager who was able to sell an overstock of Sony PLASMA WEGA 42in TV's from Sears. The caller kept in contact with the victim and set up a time to met at the Waterford Sears store. At the meeting, the victim said the person who showed up at the meeting to collect the money sounded different than the person on the telephone, but both had thick "Boston" accents. The pictured person walked away with cash. He is a light skinned male, about 5'10" tall, heavy set with a receding hairline. Witnesses stated he had some type of acne scars on his face.
