Mariano Pereyra was released from Dedham House of Corrections on $7,500 cash bail back in December of 2012. Pereyra’s passport was surrendered and he was placed on GPS monitoring.

Pereyra was indicted in early March of 2013, on 15 counts of Agg. Rape of a Child, Indecent A&B on Child, and Stat. Rape of Child. Pereyra met with his lawyer on Friday, 3/22/13 and was informed he had been indicted by Norfolk Superior Court. Pereyra removed his GPS monitoring bracelet at approximately 6:15pm on Sunday, 3/24/13.

Pereyra was last living with his brother at 20 Egleston Street, Apt. #2, Jamaica Plain, MA. Pereyra is originally from the Dominican Republic and still has family there. Pereyra has a daughter living in or around the Columbus, Ohio area who may be helping him to flee towards there.

Pereyra currently has two warrants, one from Dedham District Court and one from Norfolk Superior Court. The warrants have full rendition/extradition in the US. Please contact Wellesley Police or Det. Chris Connelly if you have any information about Pereyra’s whereabouts.
