On 11-15-03 at approximately 0207 hours the Shell gas station or route 12 in West Boylston was held up at gun point. The suspect entered the store went to the cooler and picked up a ice tea bottle, went to the register and asked the clerk for a cigar. When the clerk turned back with the cigar, the suspect pulled a semi automatic pistol from his waist band and demanded that the cashier give him the "Cash Drawer". The clerk complied and the suspect fled the building on foot south bound towards Worcester.

Store surveillance shows that the male was white of Hispanic, approximately 5'6"-5'8", thin build with a light mustache and possibly a goatee. He was wearing a dark colored jacket with a gray sweatshirt over his head and possibly a black wool hat, Jeans and sneakers. State police K9 arrived on scene very quickly and tracked the suspect south on Route 12 towards Worcester losing the scent on a side street. Worcester police arrived on scene and stated that they just had an armed robbery at the Shell station near Kelly square and stated that the suspect appeared to match their description.
