On Friday, November 29, 2013, Dracut Police responded to Eastern Bank at 45 Broadway Rd. for a reported armed robbery. The lone white male suspect entered the bank, wearing a black hoodie, a black winter hat, black sunglasses, and a fake black mustache and goatee. He was also wearing blue jeans and white sneakers. He entered the bank and passed the teller a note stating he had a gun, demanding money (recovered). He was holding a white plastic bag with the words "Hess express", he also had his right thumb, index finger, and middle finger, covered with white medical tape. His left hand was not visible. He fled in a dark colored, older model, Buick, with New Hampshire plates.
