Suspect entered jewelry store and asked to view diamond rings. After being shown several expensive rings, the suspect appeared to be interested in one of them that was valued at $18,000. When the salesperson presented it to the suspect, the suspect grabbed it from the salesperson' s hand and ran out of the store with it. The suspect fled into the mall.

This suspect shown in the photo is also a suspect in a similar theft that occurred at the same jewelry store in Sept. 03 where a $16,000 diamond ring was stolen. Same M.O.

Mr. Steven Novicki of Quincy has been identified through physical evidence with this crime.
