Our agency is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Friday, June 18, 2004 at approximately 14:48 hours at, Savers Co-operative Bank located at 38 Auburn Street, Auburn. The suspect entered the establishment with a suspicious package. The suspect showed the teller a note indicating he had a gun and a bomb. The suspect told the teller he would let her live if she gave him the money from the cashiers draw. The suspect left the suspicious package behind and fled on foot. Our agencies K-9 unit responded and tracked the suspects' path of escape that ended in a parking lot in an adjacent business. The K-9 also located the suspects' note. The suspect was described as a white male or a light skinned Hispanic male, 5'8", 160 - 170 lbs. The suspect had brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee. The suspect had a small tattoo on the right side of his neck, possibly a name written in cursive. The suspect was wearing a gray Old Navy hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a light blue baseball cap w/ a letter "P" embroidered on the front of it.
