Perp. obtained a Mass. Registry of Motor Vehicles' Photo I.D. using another's Identity (Curry, Barbara). The actual Ms. Curry lives in Philadelphia, & is not involved. This person obtained 8 counterfeit checks. The checks were in the name of the Reading Animal Clinic. The Northern Bank & Trust (Main Office / Woburn) handles the account. The perp. made checks out to Barbara Curry, & using the fraudulent Mass. I.D. cashed the checks on 05/23, & 05/27/2003 (4 on each date). The fraudulent transactions totalled approx. $16,000. The same woman cashed all of the checks at several Northern Bank & Trust Branches (Acton, Billerica, Burlington, & Woburn). She is an African-American female, is approx. 5'7" in height, appears to be heavyset (160 - 180lbs.), wears glasses in the Photo I.D. & appears to be approx. 25- 35 YOA. The perp. used a bogus address of 301 Wilson Rd. in Boston.
